AppleGeeks: New Webcomic, Years Old
I’ve recently stumbled upon a new webcomic. (“Stumbled” meaning a friend of mine forced me to click on link after link.) It’s calledApplegeeks 3.0 and it’s proved to be very humorous.

This particular webcomic has been online since 2003, at least that’s as far back as the archives go. A little side perk is that the site also features a mini-comic called Applegeeks Lite, so that you have twice the goodies to peruse!
Within the art world, you can oftentimes watch the artist struggle through phases in their art work. They go from stick figures, to blobby things, to a combination of stick figures with blobby parts, and so on. Eventually, fingers develop on the knobby blobs and the artist learns about facial features and poses!
Well, with webcomics, you can sometimes journey through this process with the artist as they publish a strip a week, every day, or once a month. You can watch the comic grow as the artist grows.
That’s not the case with Applegeeks.
This artist is super-skilled from the start. The comics only amaze you more the further along you travel. It just keeps getting better.
It’s got some interesting characters, chocked full of humor, and a good story to keep you entertained. They’ve done a great job here.
And for you die-hard PC freaks: C’mon, give the apple a chance. I work with BOTH! *gasp*
If you want more great comics to look at then feel free to check back. I’ll try to periodically post about some of the amazing webcomics that my friend forces me to read.
As for this one: I think it deserves a full 5 in my book.
And for those of you who’ve been reading this blog, you’ll notice I haven’t decided what my rating system goes by ….. yet. Just think of it as 5 “Whoa!” exclamations for now.
